Welcome to our Skip Hire Wembley service. By hiring a skip from us, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read these carefully before placing an order.
1. Definitions

- You refers to the customer hiring the skip.
- Skip refers to the container provided for waste disposal.
2. Booking and Payment
To secure a booking, a deposit is required at the time of order. The balance must be paid upon delivery of the skip. We accept various payment methods including credit/debit cards and bank transfers. All payments are processed securely and confidentially.
2.1 Payment Terms
- Driver only cash payments are not accepted.
- Invoices must be paid within 14 days of receipt.
- Late payments may incur additional charges.
3. Delivery and Collection
We strive to deliver skips promptly at the agreed-upon time. However, delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. If you foresee any issues with access or placement of the skip, please inform us in advance.
3.1 Access Requirements
- A clear path to the delivery location must be available.
- Delivery should not obstruct traffic or create safety hazards.
4. Permitted and Prohibited Waste
Our skip hire service is intended for the disposal of non-hazardous waste only. You are responsible for ensuring that all waste placed in the skip complies with local regulations and our guidelines.
4.1 Permitted Waste
- General household waste
- Construction and demolition debris
- Green waste
4.2 Prohibited Waste
- Hazardous materials (e.g., asbestos, chemicals, medical waste)
- Electrical appliances containing refrigerants
- Vehicles or large machinery
5. Skip Usage
You must use the skip in accordance with the intended purpose and specifications provided. Overloading or misuse of the skip may result in additional charges or cancellation of service.
5.1 Loading Guidelines
- Do not exceed the maximum weight limit specified for your skip.
- Distribute waste evenly to maintain skip stability.
- Refrain from throwing items in to prevent damage.
6. Responsibility and Liability
We are not liable for any loss or damage to your property unless caused by our negligence. It's your responsibility to remove valuable items before the skip is collected.
6.1 Insurance
- We carry public liability insurance to cover any accidents during delivery and collection.
- Additional coverage for damage caused by improper skip usage may be required.
7. Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule your booking, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made within 24 hours may incur a fee equivalent to 50% of the booking cost.
7.1 Refunds
- Deposits are refundable if cancellations are made within the stipulated time.
- No refunds are available for cancellations made after the 24-hour period.
8. Termination of Service
We reserve the right to terminate the skip hire agreement immediately if you breach any of the terms and conditions. In such cases, you may be liable for any costs incurred.
8.1 Grounds for Termination
- Non-payment or late payment of invoices.
- Use of the skip for prohibited waste.
- Creating safety hazards or obstructing public areas.
9. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes arising from the skip hire service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in England and Wales.
10. Amendments
We may update or amend these terms and conditions from time to time. Any changes will be communicated through our official channels, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

13.1 Prohibited Activities
- Storing the skip for longer than the agreed rental period without notification.
- Using the skip for illegal activities or disposing of illegal waste.
- Tampering with the skip or its contents.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Skip Hire Wembley, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of your misuse of the skip or breach of these terms and conditions.
15. Severability
If any provision of these terms and conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
15.1 Entire Agreement
- These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and Skip Hire Wembley regarding the skip hire service.
- No other terms or conditions apply unless agreed upon in writing by both parties.
